Taco Bell and Duolingo Pair an Oct. 6 Sauce Launch With a 30-Day Super Offer
A qualifying Doritos Locos Taco order is set to earn a sauce packet at participating U.S. restaurants. Rewards members have a separate route to a Super Duolingo code.

Taco Bell plans to launch Duo Habanero sauce with Duolingo on October 6, offering one complimentary packet with a qualifying Doritos Locos Taco order at participating U.S. restaurants. A separate offer lets Taco Bell Rewards members claim an app code for 30 days of Super Duolingo. The partnership gives customers two distinct ways to encounter it: through a menu purchase and through the loyalty app.
Taco Bell says the sauce is also headed to participating restaurants in six other countries. Its packets carry taco-themed text in nine languages, extending the language-learning theme to the product itself. The stated Doritos Locos Taco purchase terms apply to the U.S. offer.
A purchase earns the packet
The complimentary sauce is limited to one packet per qualifying U.S. order while supplies last, according to Taco Bell’s campaign announcement. Additional packets are listed at 20 cents each; prices and restaurant participation vary. That condition gives the restaurant side of the collaboration a specific customer action, rather than a general sauce giveaway.
Rewards carries the subscription offer
Taco Bell’s dedicated promotion page says Rewards members can obtain a Super Duolingo code in its app from September 30 through October 6, subject to availability, and redeem it by November 15. Current Duolingo subscribers are ineligible. Duolingo describes Super as its ad-free tier with unlimited hearts.
Customers checking the deadline should note that one footnote in Taco Bell’s announcement says October 13, while the dedicated promotion page lists October 6 as the end of code availability. The app offer is distinct from the qualifying taco purchase.
Taco Bell has also scheduled a U.S. Rewards-member sweepstakes for October 6 from 2 to 3 p.m. PT, with 500 plushie prizes and no purchase necessary. It gives the app a second role in the campaign: a timed event alongside the subscription-code offer.
