LTK Says Search-to-Retailer Click-Outs Rose 84% Since Search Tab Launch

The consolidated tab gives creator content another route beyond followed feeds. LTK’s early figures measure search activity and outbound clicks, not completed sales.

LTK says product click-outs from search to retailer websites rose 84% since it launched a consolidated Search experience earlier in September. In its September 24 announcement, the company said the tab brings interest-based posts, product and inspiration searches with AI-generated overviews, and its shopping chatbot into one place.

For creators, that gives shoppable content another route to people who have not started with a followed feed or a creator shop. For retailers, the reported click-outs represent shoppers moving from LTK search to their websites. LTK also says creator-profile views originating in search rose nearly 50% since the launch. It did not provide starting counts or exact comparison dates for either increase; click-outs and profile views do not measure completed orders.

What September’s update changes

LTK already had a chatbot, which it introduced in February. A May discovery update described interest-based recommendations and a choice between followed creators and broader discovery. September’s change brings those ways of finding content together in Search and adds AI-generated search overviews.

The practical distinction for creators and retail marketers is where discovery begins. A shopper can look for a product or browse an interest and encounter a creator recommendation without first visiting that creator’s shop. LTK’s reported gains indicate more activity along that search route, with the measured product click-outs continuing to retailer websites.
