Bleecker Street’s New Ad Portal Lists $12 CPM—and a $45,000 Minimum Commitment
Run-of-network banners list $20 CPM, while newsletter placements start at $2,000. Buyers can inspect the rates before signing in, but a posted price is not a finalized order.
Bleecker Street Publications announced a self-service advertising portal on September 29, putting a consequential budget distinction in front of firearms and outdoor advertisers. Its Max Precision Reach listing shows $12 per thousand impressions (CPM), alongside a $15,000 monthly minimum and a three-month minimum term. That amounts to at least $45,000 in committed spend before applicable taxes. The $12 figure is a unit rate, not a campaign price.
Advertisers can browse the public catalog and its posted rates without signing in. For buyers comparing formats, the useful question is both how an ad is billed and how much spend the offer requires.
Different formats, different commitments
Run-of-network display lists a $20 CPM and unlimited creatives per ad size. Its public product page does not state a purchase minimum. Bleecker Street describes Max Precision Reach as an intent-based and retargeting offer, so its lower posted CPM should be read alongside its substantially higher stated commitment.
Native advertising lists $30 CPM and a 500,000-impression minimum—$15,000 at that rate. Bleecker Street says the offer includes creation and distribution of sponsored content. A 300×250 newsletter inclusion uses another billing unit: a flat rate by title, ranging from $2,000 to $4,500. Those placement prices should not be treated as equivalent quantities of impressions.
A posted rate is not a signed order
The portal’s Max Precision Reach order link requires sign-in and says rates are subject to confirmation at countersignature. Under Bleecker Street’s general ad-space terms, the company may accept or reject an insertion order, which becomes binding only when countersigned. The terms call for invoices in U.S. dollars, ordinarily payable within 30 days, with applicable taxes excluded from prices. The portal therefore gives buyers figures to budget against before they begin an order; the countersigned order establishes the purchase.
