Best Buy Ads Outlines Fire TV, LG and Roku CTV Buy for Tech Brands

Best Buy says its shopper signals can inform 30-second streaming ads and home-screen placements. Buyers still need campaign-specific pricing and availability.

Best Buy Ads detailed a connected-TV offering spanning Insignia Fire TV sets, LG and Roku in a September 28 showcase recap. For consumer-electronics brands and their agencies, the proposition is to plan TV advertising across those screens using Best Buy’s shopper signals.

Best Buy says those signals include device ownership, replacement cycles and purchase intent. It describes 30-second creative across streaming apps and free ad-supported channels, alongside home-screen placements. That gives advertisers a specific question for their next streaming budget: whether the available placements and shopper-based targeting fit the products they need to promote.

The Fire TV deal has a separate 2027 milestone

The Fire TV component predates the broader recap. Amazon announced the arrangement on September 22, saying Best Buy Ads would offer inventory on new and existing Insignia Fire TV sets. In its September 23 announcement, Best Buy separately said it would adopt Amazon Ads programmatic technology in February 2027. That future technology milestone is not a stated launch date for every Fire TV, LG and Roku placement in the CTV offer.

Measurement joins the buying pitch

Best Buy also says it introduced multi-touch attribution covering onsite and offsite activity, including sponsored products, paid search, CTV, social, influencers, affiliates and in-store experiences. It announced expanded incrementality testing. These are Best Buy’s descriptions of measurement capabilities, rather than reported results from a particular advertiser’s campaign.

Best Buy’s retail-media page directs prospective advertisers to its team. Neither that page nor the September 28 recap gives a CTV bundle price or one rollout date for all placements. An agency weighing the offer can ask which inventory and measurement options are available for its campaign, and at what cost, before assigning budget.
